Annie Tropple Interior Designer

Annie Tropple

Founder

Some kids grow up wanting to be astronauts, professional athletes, or ballerinas. The only thing Annie ever wanted to be was an interior designer. Whether she was ripping pages out of her mother's home design magazines or constantly rearranging her bedroom, Annie had a single-minded passion for interior design.

She's turned that passion into a career.

After receiving her interior design education at the University of Minnesota, Annie began working at Marshall Field’s Design Studio and William Beson Interior Design. From there she took her talents to La Jolla, CA and the high-end design firm, Inplace Studio, where she helped design stunning kitchens and luxurious bathrooms for homes from Mt. Soledad to Sonoma.  While she enjoyed the sun and sand in southern California, she soon found herself drawn back to Minneapolis. Annie took a job with the luxury home building firm, Hendel Homes, where she had the privilege of designing a Parade of Homes Dream Home.

As the new construction market slowed, Annie's career picked up. Deciding it was time to strike out on her own, Annie started Home Design by Annie in 2009. Founded upon the principals of creativity, professionalism, and a passion for creating design solutions that reflect the individuality of its clients, Home Design by Annie is a full-service interior design firm specializing in both residential and commercial projects.
